In his 20-plus years of coaching, Coach Waldron has coached at about every level possible. He served on two occasions as the Head of the Kansas Olympic Development Program. Coach Waldron has led many teams to the State Championships at the club and the high school levels. Coach Waldron has been recognized on numerous occasions with several coaching honors, including Conference Coach of the Year, Regional Coach of the Year, and in 1997, National High School Coach of the Year.

Coach Waldron received his undergraduate degree at Quincy College, where he was a member of the 1981 National Championship Soccer Team. Coach Waldron also earned a Masters Degree from the University of Evansville. At Evansville, he served as an Assistant Coach for US National Staff Coach Fred Schmatz. Afterwards, he went on to be the head coach at Benedictine College. In 2001, Coach Waldon left coaching to become Vice President of a Graphics Arts company, but the coaching drew him back in 2007, when he became the Head Coach at Leavenworth High School, where is coached for four years. He is currently varsity assistant coach at Mill Valley High School. Joe lives with his wife Mindy, son and daughter in Shawnee, Kan.
