Coach Jim Schwab:
In his ten year tenure, Schwab has registered an amazing 149-29-7 (.824) as the head of the Johnson County Community College Women's Program. During this time his teams have won five Region VI titles for the women's program at JCCC. He also has coached seven NJCAA All-Americans, 30 NJCAA All-Region VI performers and three Region VI Player of the Year recipients. Schwab, who in 1990 became the fourth head coach of the JCCC men's soccer program, coached the men's team 10 seasons at JCCC, and compiled an impressive 156-45-6 mark for a winning percentage of .750. During his tenure with the men's team, Schwab led the Cavaliers to five Region VI titles, four consecutively from 1993 through 1996, and he was honored as the Region VI coach of the year in each of those seasons. A 1985 draft choice of the Kansas City Comets, Schwab played six season in the NPSL, primarily with the Kansas City Attack (prior to becoming the Comets). In 1987, in his inaugural year as the coach of the Kansas City Attack he led the team to the National Championship. Schwab was a collegiate standout player at Florissant Valley Community College in St. Louis and was a member of the United States Junior National Team. Jim serves as a team coach for the club, as a Director of Coaching and has coached the club's 97/98 Boys Galaxy.
