Coach Brandon Schmidt:
Brandon played collegiate soccer for the nationally acclaimed Santa Clara Broncos in California. While there he was awarded in 1992 the Pat Malley Award given to the senior athlete who best demonstrates the qualities of attitude, character, desire, competitive spirit and the will to excel on and off the field, as well as being accorded All Conference honors. While at Santa Clara, Brandon was part of teams that played in the NCAA Championships three out of four years, taking second in the Nation in 1991, earning a unique Co-Championship with Virginia in 1989, and being ranked in the top ten in the nation all four years he played. Brandon lives in Overland Park with his wife Shannon and son Ryan.
