Known not only for his defending where he won several defender of the year awards over his career, but also as an attacker. Kim is second all-time in games played with 731, 31st all-time in goals scored with 380, 13th all-time in assists with 437 and 6th all-time in shots blocked with 945. With these great stats at both ends of the field it is no surprise that Kim was an all-star an amazing 17 times! In 1999 Kim was chosen as one of six out of the thousands of professional players to play indoors to the "Indoor Stars of the Century" Team. As a team coach with the Club Kim brings the same dedication and knowledge he brought to the game for over two decades. Kim lives in Lenexa. His daughter is a player with the Club and his son is currently playing varsity soccer in college. |
