Coach Alan Blinzler:
Blinzler, together with Emilio John and Jim Schwab, founded the Attack Soccer Club in 1994. Blinzler has played soccer for almost four decades, playing in college, winning amateur State Championships three times as a player and twice more as a coach. Besides starting the Attack Soccer Club, Blinzler and John in 1997, formed the Kansas City Brass. The Brass is a member of the Premier Development League, the top amateur and professional development league in the United States. In 2007, the United Soccer Leagues recognized the Kansas City Brass and its founders for their 10-year long contribution to soccer by inducting the team into the United Soccer League's Hall of Fame. In 2004, Blinzler coached the Kansas high school senior boys to the championship in the Kansas vs. Missouri Senior All Star Game at Arrowhead Stadium. Blinzler serves as the Secretary and on the Board of Directors of US Youth Soccer (the major governing body for youth soccer int he United States), and as the Past President serves on the Board of Kansas State Youth Soccer Association. Blinzler lives with his wife and daughter in Overland Park. Blinzler is the Executive Director of the Club, the coach of the 01/02 Girls, a goalkeeper and Club staff coach. Blinzler has earned various National Coaching Licenses, including the National Youth License.
