Blinzler was a member of one the original Attack Soccer teams, the Attack 81/82 boys. Since 2000, Blinzler has played with the Kansas City Brass, winning the "Iron Man" award for three years as the player to appear each season in the most games and twice was selected by the league to the PDL Team of the Week. Blinzler played collegiate soccer at College Grand Canyon University and Johnson County Community College. At Grand Canyon he was a starter both his junior and senior years. At JCCC Blinzler started in all but one game as a member of the squad that captured 3rd in the Nation in 2001. He was recognized for his efforts by being named to the National Championship Tournament First Team. During his tenure at JCCC, the school twice won the Regional Championship and was ranked in the top 15 of Division One Junior Colleges in the nation. Blinzler was also a member 1982 Kansas ODP State Team and in High School was a two-year varsity letter winner in soccer. His senior year, when he captained the team, the Mustangs won the Northeast Kansas Regional. Blinzler received all East Kansas League first team honors, was selected to the Kansas All Academic Team, and twice selected among the top twenty high school soccer players by the All-Sports Connection Magazine. Additionally, he earned varsity letters in wrestling, track, and cross country. In track, he was a member of the team that won the State Championship in 1999. Blinzler is a team coach with Kansas City United. Adam lives with his wife and children in Olathe.
